Sevastopol holds a specific place among the Crimean cities. Once closed military city now turned into a beautiful modern business and cultural center. The climate on the territory under the subjugation of the Sevastopol City Council is close to the subtropical climate of the Southern Coast of Crimea, and has its own characteristics in two microclimatic subzones:

- In the foothills - relatively mild, marine, moderately continental;
- On the south-east coast it is moderately continental with traits of subtropical Mediterranean type.

The average temperature throughout the year is positive. The coldest month - January (average temperature is +3^oÑ), the warmest - July (+28 ^oÑ). The Black Sea surface water temperature off Sevastopol coast is always above zero, and in July it is 24-25 ^oÑ.

Uchkuyevka, a district of Sevastopol, located in Severnaya Side, is one of the most popular holiday destinations of Sevastopol citizens and guests of the city. Severnaya Side is a part of the city to the north of Sevastopol bay. The district was named after the village of Uch-Kuya (“three wells”), formerly part of F.F. Ushakov's estate. Uchkuyevka district is located in a quiet park area, separated from the center of Sevastopol by the sea.

Long sandy beaches neighbored by parks and pineries give a weighty advantage to Uchkuyevka over other districts of the city. Absence of hills and steeps will make your rest here even more comfortable. 5-minute motor-boating will bring you to the heart of Sevastopol - Grafskaya Wharf. Car enthusiasts can use a ferry boat.
